Terms & Conditions

1) TERMS OF THE CONTRACT

These terms apply to all goods supplied by 'Exclusive Lighting Ltd'. The registered address for 'Exclusive Lighting' is 9 Regent Street, Leeds, LS2 7QN. Registered in England and Wales no. 4956346. We have the right to withdraw from any sale if the buyer defaults payment in any way. Once the payment has been received and has cleared, a contract will start between us and the buyer. Orders will only be despatched for delivery when conformation has been received that the payment has cleared. Our website does not show live stock, if a product is out of stock, you will be notified within 1 working day to advise the estimated time of arrival.

2) PRODUCT INFORMATION

All products displayed for sale on our website are subject to availability at the time of order. If there is any problem with availability, you will be advised via email with an E.T.A (estimated time of arrival). You will then have the choice to wait for the goods to return into stock or cancel the order and recieve a refund directly onto the debit/ credit card used to make the purchase. All descriptions are given for guidance only and detail may vary slightly as a result of improvements or modifications. Colour finishes will be maintained as accurately as possible but matching cannot be guaranteed. All sizes given are approximate and exclude chain (where applicable). Light bulbs are not supplied with order unless specified or purchased.


3) PRICE OF GOODS

All prices shown are in pounds sterling. If any price shown on our website is in-correct, we will make every effort to change it to the correct price as soon as the fault is detected. The customer will then be offered the chance to purchase the product at the correct price. We offer a price match, If you see any of the same products advertised on our website cheaper elsewhere, we will be happy to invesigate and match their price. we have the right to refuse any price match enquiry.


4) DELIVERY

FREE DELIVERY on all orders placed £99.00 and over (UK Mainland). Goods can also be collected from our Leeds showroom once you have been notified the item is ready for collection.

  • Delivery charges for orders under £99.00 will be £5.99 (UK Mainland) for standard delivery.
  • For delivery charges outside UK Mainland, a quotation will be sent via e-mail. 
  • Goods are usually available for despatch within 3 working days of completion of order providing the product(s) are in stock with the supplier. If the goods are not in stock, you will be contacted within 1 working day to advise the estimated time of arrival (ETA). You can either wait for them to arrive, have a full refund or reselect.
  • Collect from store orders should usually be ready within 2-4 working days of completion of order providing the product(s) are in stock with the supplier. If the goods are not in stock, you will be contacted within 1 working day to advise the estimated time of arrival (ETA). You can either wait for them to arrive, have a full refund or reselect.
  • Standard delivery is usually 2-4 days from placing the order.
  • Express delivery will be 1-2 days delivery providing the order is placed before 1pm.
  • Deliveries usually take place Monday - Friday (excluding bank holiday's) and a delivery timeslot is usually given on the delivery day. Weekend deliveries sometimes can be requested however a surcharge will apply if it can be arranged.

We ask that all products are thoroughly inspected on delivery and any breakages or shortages are reported to us within 48 hours of delivery via email; leeds@exclusivelightingltd.co.uk

We do not recommend arranging an electrician before the goods have arrived with you. We cannot be held responsible for any charges you may incur as a result of the product not arriving on time

We try and be as kind as we can to the environment and try to re-use boxes and packaging as much as possible to reduce waste and emissions. 

 

5) REFUND POLICY

Pease email us within 14 days of delivery or collection from store stating your order number, which product(s) you wish to return and the reason you want to return them, you will then have a further 14 days to return the unwanted goods to store making it a 28 days in total for a return to be accepted. If we do not receive this email within 14 days, or the goods are not returned to store within 28 days of delivery / collection, we will be unable to process your return and your goods will be returned to you. You must not return goods without informing us in writing beforehand, a telephone conversation will not suffice. Shipping cost's (if applicable) will not be refunded. We ask you to please take note of the following conditions:

  • The product(s) must be in the same condition / packaging in which it was sold however the goods can be opened, handled and inspected.
  • The product(s) must not have been used, installed or modified in any way.
  • The product(s) must be returned with light bulbs and any other spare parts supplied.

A full refund will be given when we receive the goods back and they comply with the above. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own expense (see returns page). We have the right to refuse a refund if the above criteria has not been met or amend the amount of the refund to be issued.


6) RETURNS

If for any reason, the goods are not suitable, Please email us within 14 days of delivery or collection from store stating your order number, which product(s) you wish to return and the reason you want to return them, you will then have a further 14 days to return the unwanted goods to store making it a 28 days in total for a return to be accepted. If we do not receive this email within 14 days, or the goods are not returned to store within 28 days of delivery / collection, we will be unable to process your return and your goods will be returned to you. You must not return goods without informing us in writing beforehand, a telephone conversation will not suffice. Shipping cost's (if applicable) will not be refunded.

The item(s) returned to us must be unused, unfitted and in the original packaging without any damage including the use of brown tape, tears or writing. Whilst in your possession, the goods are your responsibility so please ensure they are well packaged for their return journey and you are covered by enough insurance from the courier of your choice. We would also recommend sending them tracked / signed for. This will be at your cost and will not be covered by Exclusive Lighting Ltd if they are not suitable.

Please return goods to Exclusive Lighting Ltd, c/o Christopher Pratts, 9 Regent Street, Leeds, LS2 7QN. You can also hand deliver goods back to our Leeds showroom if you are local however you must still notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery / collection from our store or we cannot accept the return.

We will issue a full refund once the item has been received and inspected by us. This will be returned to you the same way in which you paid.


7) BREAKAGE'S, SHORTAGE'S & FAULTY PRODUCTS

In the unfortunate event that a product doesn't reach you in perfect condition, please email us a photo of the fault within 48 hours of delivery using the email address leeds@exclusivelightingltd.co.uk.

If you have parts missing or broken, we can usually just send these pieces out to you within a couple of days. Please do not arrange your electrician / have the product fitted until you have received all required parts and are happy with your product, we cannot be responsible for any charges your electrician may enforce if you find a shortage / finish fault during installation and he has to return.

If goods are damaged upon arrival, you will be asked to notify us within 48 hours of delivery. The product(s) will then be checked in accordance with our refund policy and The product(s) will then either be replaced, repaired or refunded direct onto the debit/ credit card used to make the purchase. No products can be returned to us without our authorisation and returns note number. All product(s) must be returned by registered means. This does not cover any damage caused by wear and tear or accidental damage due to installation or modification.

If the goods we have supplied develop a fault within the warranty period, please contact us via email and we attempt to resolve in a timely manner by repair, replace or refund.

8) WARRANTY

All products sold (except light bulbs) come with a 12 month manufacturers guarantee which does not cover any damage caused by wear and tear or accidental damage due to installation, repair or modification carried out without the manufacturers approval. We will do our best to resolve any issues in the most time efficient manner possible, within the first 12 months.

Some integrated LED products are covered by a higher warranty period, more information on the warranty period will be found on the product page and additional warranty periods must be registered with the manufacturer to be valid. More information and instructions will be in the box with the product. Additional warranty periods must be dealt with by the manufacturer if it is outside the first 12 months period.
